Hellooo this is my portfolio for my FFP so that I can pass with colours that aren't a level 50! I think I have to put stuff I think I could do. So, here we go.
Careers
Job Advice you should totally use
I bet that many of you out there get nervous when faced with the task of getting a job and not getting fired before you even start. On here are some absolutely fab tips to getting the job totally right away. Stick to the edge of your seat and we'll get started.
Step numero uno: Strut in like you're on the catwalk. Twerk if you want extra points; perhaps even bring your pets, have it lick the interviewer. Do not stop even if he demands you to.
Step dos: Whenever he/she/it asks you a question, scream words of your choice at the top of your lungs. Gnaw at the edge of the table and throw your shirt/dress/tie to the ground.
Step tres: Get up on that table and start dancing! Every interviewer is attracted to interviewees with a sense of how to get the crowd moving... in the opposite direction!
Step four: If there's anything FFP has taught me, is that the world's a sinkhole. Start crying all over them. Tears are apparently a form of getting the opposite sex to want to lick them off as they are delicious and full of good stuff. If they actually start licking you back, you're being interviewed by an animal; possibly a cat. Bonus points.
Once you get hired, be like that guy who fell asleep on his 2 key at work and transfer millions of dollars to random people all over the world, or something like that. Freak out all your fellow workers; If they start plotting your demise behind you back, you've done a good job of this. Swing on the office's fridge door.
Follow these and you will be ready to go... out the door. This was an example of what NOT to do when going into a job. Seriously, don't do any of these. Also, we have done a few Career-related assignments in class, such as my "ideal career" wallpaper:

Not only did this show that I knew somewhat of what I wanted to do, it also showed that I am a creative person, as none of the other kids in all of the FFP courses Mrs. Wood has taught, no one has ever figured out that they could just make a wallpaper version of the otherwise paper visionboard. Underneath it all this also showed that I care about the environment while being efficient; it doesn't waste paper, which means I saved some to conserve the trees. Doing things on the computer is also easier than cutting and pasting photos and letters onto some sort of construction paper, plus it's neater. Another thing I've done is taken the initiative to look at career cruising to see what it thought I'd be good at and touched upon it.
Although my desired line of work has changed many times since then, I thought about it and explained my views clearly so that everyone can see my opinion on its choices. ( To Be ContinuEd)

Civics
Back again. Apparently the CIVICS headline does not want to show up properly on the web builder, but that's fine. Anyway, this is civics, where everything needs help and we must provide it. Fortunately, I have been at least somewhat active in the community for the year, and more so in the summer. A few months ago I worked on making a poster for what I believe is Children's Mental Health Ontario that ended up being used. I've taken a very pixelated and grainy picture of it on my 3DS that I may put up if I feel like it. Also, this summer I shall be working to help the old people for St. Andrew's Terrace for a bit, and I have just finished creating posters with my mom to help out homeless pets ( How's that for involvement?). Last, a few years ago I helped out in fostering a child in Africa, and we are still helping them financially. I think those all display understanding of the dire situations in the world today. Remember guys, no matter how tough life is, no matter how many time you're bullied, There's still hope. Don't take that overdosage of sleeping pills, don't step off to that final drop, don't loop that noose around you neck. There are people out there willing to help you. The people around you care about you more than you think, and ponder how many lives will change when you're gone.
Two things that we've done in class are the Civic mirror reflection and Civic Mirror itself. I think they were pretty decent.

English
Not to be confused with Engilsh.
Was ffp-style learning a good fit for you? Why or why not?
FFP was pretty great because I was given more than just one hour to get things done until the next class started, but I think I like regular English more. I guess, standard academic English courses are more linear and easier to get 80's in; I don't even know my mark in this class! However, I do agree that FFP has taught me to successfully 'think outside the box' more, which is something I will totally use later in life; I am NOT becoming a boring businessperson barely staying awake in a cooped up cubicle. While it is true that I like more of a rigid teaching style of ' This is what you have to do and the requirements are at the bottom of the page,' I enjoyed working on my own in this class, and am sad to be leaving it. Regardless to say, it was a pretty okay course to me and despite how many times I got completely distracted on the computer, I promise I did a lot of work this semester! Please forgive me!! Ahahaha.
By the way, apparently I have to write something in my particular writing style, but I think that this entire thing is basically that as well.
Next, I mist choose two artifacts that we have done in class, be it a blog post or something else English-y. I'd say that this one and this one were my absolute favourites. Perhaps even the R+J Stuff thing on my English Prowess page

Now, I am completely done! Hooray!
